The Snapside desktop app is here
Open projects and issues in tabs, connect local Git repositories, and keep working with Codex or Claude Code in the Snapside desktop app.
Working on a project often means switching between your issue tracker and the place where you do the work. You find the next task, open the repository, get started, and then return to record the result.
We built the Snapside desktop app to bring that flow together. Access the same projects and issues you use on the web, and connect them to Git repositories on your computer.
Keep multiple projects open in tabs
Work rarely stays on a single screen. You might review an individual issue while checking the overall project, or follow progress on another project at the same time.
In the Snapside desktop app, you can keep the pages you need open in tabs. Open projects and issues separately and switch between them without having to find each page again.
Tabs share your signed-in session. Sign in with the account you use on the web to continue working with your existing projects.
Connect projects to repositories on your computer
The desktop app lets you connect a project to a local Git repository. This brings the issues you manage in Snapside together with the workspace where your code lives.
Within the app, you can follow which project a task belongs to and which repository it uses. Moving from project management to the actual work becomes more natural.
Start AI agent work from an issue
The Snapside desktop app can connect to Codex or Claude Code installed locally to run work described in an issue.
Once you have connected a repository and configured the agent, the app checks for eligible To do issues and starts work. Describe what needs to be done in the issue, then review the result in that same place.
The app runs one issue at a time. Results are recorded on the issue, and completed work moves to Review or Done according to its settings. If work is blocked, the reason stays on the issue so you can decide what to do next.
This feature runs while the desktop app is open. Codex requires an installed CLI and ChatGPT sign-in. Claude Code requires an installed CLI and your own Anthropic API key.
